One of music\u2019s biggest nights of the year is here, and the 2024 VMAs nominees were revealed earlier this summer!<\/p>\n

The show will take place on September 10 in New York and will celebrate 40 years of historical moments in the music industry. From Madonna<\/a><\/strong>\u2018s iconic 80s hit \u201cLike a Virgin\u201d at the very first VMAs, to Christina Aguilera<\/a><\/strong> presenting Eminem<\/a> <\/strong>with Best Male Video amid their ongoing feud to Kanye<\/a><\/strong> interrupting Taylor Swift\u2019s<\/a> <\/strong>speech, the MTV awards have given fans a lot to talk about through the decades.<\/p>\n

As many can expect, the headliner of the year, Taylor Swift<\/strong>, takes the lead with 10 nominations. Following behind with several nominations are Ariana Grande<\/a><\/strong>, Eminem<\/strong>, Post Malone<\/a><\/strong>, and Sabrina Carpenter<\/a><\/strong> earning six each. Megan Thee Stallion<\/a><\/strong> and SZA<\/a><\/strong> each have five nods. Lastly, with four total nominations are Olivia Rodrigo<\/a><\/strong>, Teddy Swims<\/strong>, and LISA<\/strong>.
