Saturday Night Live<\/em> is known for its actors who have gained fame through their comedic talents. From Kenan Thompson<\/a> <\/strong>to Colin Jost<\/a><\/strong>, many have become the show\u2019s main stars. However, some have already had to say their farewells, like comedian Chloe Troast<\/a><\/strong>, who joined the show in Season 49 but was let go after just one season.<\/p>\n The 27-year-old comedian, known for roles such as a singing orphan alongside Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>who played a sun, recently revealed<\/a>, \u201cI was not asked back to SNL.\u201d Here are more details HollywoodLife<\/strong> has gathered on Chloe\u2019s departure.<\/p>\n Chloe took to Instagram on Monday, September 9, to share<\/a> the news of her departure. \u201cUnfortunately, I was not asked back to SNL this season. I wish I was going back to be with all the amazing friends I made there; it truly felt like home. But it wasn\u2019t in the cards,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n She continued to express her gratitude despite not returning, saying, \u201cI\u00a0wanna thank everyone who supported me. Especially everyone who came to see my tour this summer , wore costumes from characters and had such wonderful things to say. You mean everything to me.<\/span>I hope I was able to spread joy and laughter \u2014 all love. Onwards and upwards.\u201d<\/p>\n In addition to Chloe, comedians Punkie Johnson<\/strong> <\/a>and Andrew Dismukes<\/a><\/strong> will also not be returning for the 50th season of the comedy show.<\/p>\n With these departures, SNL has welcomed new members to its comedic team, including Ashley Padilla<\/strong>, Emil Wakim<\/strong>, and Jane Wickline<\/strong>. They will join original cast members, such as Michael Che<\/a><\/strong> and Ego Nwodim<\/a><\/strong>, who have not announced any plans to leave, as well as recently promoted cast members Marcello Hernandez<\/a><\/strong>, Michael Longfellow<\/a><\/strong>, and Devon Walker<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n The show\u2019s 50th season will premiere live on NBC on September 28 at 11:30 p.m. ET\/8:30 p.m. PT and will also be available on Peacock.<\/p>\n \n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<\/blockquote>\n
