The White Stripes just joined the list of musicians suing Donald Trump<\/strong><\/a>. Amid the Republican candidate\u2019s campaign, band members Jack White<\/strong> <\/a>and Meg White<\/strong> filed a lawsuit against Donald. So what does their hit single \u201cSeven Nation Army\u201d have to do with the situation?<\/p>\n Jack shared the news of his and Meg\u2019s lawsuit via Instagram<\/a> by sharing a photo of one of the court documents. According to The Washington Post<\/em><\/a>, Donald and campaign Deputy Director of Communications Margo Martin were accused of publishing an online video featuring the former host of The Apprentice<\/em> boarding a plane while \u201cSeven Nation Army\u201d played in the background.<\/p>\n Per the court documents obtained by the publication, Jack and Meg alleged that Donald attempted to use their song for financial gain \u201con the backs of the Plaintiffs,\u201d which in turn is a \u201cflagrant misappropriation\u201d of their work.<\/p>\n In a previous since-deleted X post, Jack threatened Donald and his campaign with a lawsuit in August. In his caption, the musician warned them not to \u201ceven think about using [his] music,\u201d calling the Republican candidate and his team \u201cfascists.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cAnd as long as I\u2019m here, a double f**k you DonOLD for insulting our nation\u2019s veterans at Arlington you scum,\u201d Jack reportedly wrote in the now-deleted post. \u201cYou should lose every military family\u2019s vote immediately from that if ANYTHING makes sense anymore\u201d<\/p>\n While lawsuits haven\u2019t been filed against Donald by every single musician, quite a few have publicly spoken out about the alleged unauthorized usage of their music.
