After Patrick Mahomes<\/strong><\/a>\u2018 wife noticeably supported a few pro-Donald Trump<\/strong> <\/a>social media posts, Swifties wondered whether her friendship with the \u201cKarma\u201d artist fizzled out. Outside of sports, Brittany was photographed hanging out with Taylor on a few occasions<\/a> in New York City. During one outing, she was seen spending time with Taylor and her best friend Selena Gomez<\/strong><\/a>. Donald publicly thanked<\/a> Brittany for her support by writing via Truth Social, \u201cI want to thank [the] beautiful Brittany Mahomes for so strongly defending me.\u201d<\/p>\n After receiving backlash for \u201cliking\u201d the Republican candidate\u2019s post, Brittany seemingly addressed the criticism in a statement via her Instagram Stories.<\/p>\n \u201cI mean honestly, To be a hater as an adult, you have to have some deep rooted issues you refuse to heal from childhood,\u201d Brittany wrote in her note. \u201cThere\u2019s no reason your brain is fully developed and you hate to see others doing well.\u201d<\/p>\n Taylor has not publicly commented on the controversy.
