When Travis Kelce<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0first started dating Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a>, he was apparently reluctant to share the details, even with his brother, Jason Kelce<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n \u201cI think he was very cautious about even telling me or anybody,\u201d Jason said in Tuesday\u2019s episode of The Pivot Podcast<\/a>,<\/em> \u201cbecause the reality is, [Swift] is under such a microscope.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI think that they wanted to make sure everything was done in a way that was respectful to people\u2019s privacy,\u201d the 36-year-old continued. \u201cAnd I think they\u2019re still trying to do that. And, like, even now, I want to be respectful of them. And I don\u2019t want anybody to feel like\u2026 I\u2019m violating some type of private relationship, right?\u201d<\/p>\n The retired Philadelphia Eagles center added, \u201cIt\u2019s really not my place to speak on their relationship. But he is my brother, and I\u2019m very happy for him.\u201d<\/p>\n The proud girl dad\u2014who shares Wyatt<\/strong>, 4, Elliotte<\/strong>, 3, and Bennett<\/strong>, 1, with his wife,\u00a0Kylie Kelce<\/strong><\/a>\u2014admitted that while the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 34, played coy about his relationship with the pop superstar, also 34, \u201cThere was a lead-up to it.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThere was a whole thing on the pod about him trying to get a friendship bracelet to her, so I knew that there was something,\u201d the analyst for ESPN\u2019s Monday Night Countdown<\/em> said, referring to Travis\u2019s attempt to give Swift a bracelet with his phone number on it at the Kansas City, Mo., stop of her Eras Tour in July 2023.<\/p>\n Travis shared on the brothers\u2019 New Heights<\/em> podcast\u2014which they recently decided to move to Wondery in a nine-figure deal<\/a>\u2014that he was unable to deliver the beaded trinket to the Grammy winner because she \u201cdidn\u2019t want to meet\u201d him, and he left feeling \u201cbutthurt.\u201d<\/p>\n However, the move apparently grabbed her attention, as the two secretly began dating that summer and went public in September 2023.<\/p>\n Jason has been a major supporter of Travis\u2019 relationship with Swift and recently revealed that his daughters are big fans of the singer\u2019s music.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve been listening a lot to \u2018I Can Do It With a Broken Heart,\u2019 and Ellie right now, there\u2019s a line in that\u2026 \u2018I\u2019m a real tough kid\/I can handle my s**t,\u2019 and\u2026 she says, \u2018I\u2019m a real tough kid\/I can handle my stuff,\u2019\u201d Jason said. \u201cThat\u2019s all I hear on a daily basis.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\t\t<\/div>\n![\"KANSAS](\"https:\/\/hollywoodlife.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/GettyImages-1964011727.jpg?quality=100&w=1024&resize=851%2C567\")
