Johnny Depp<\/strong> recently revealed new pearly whites after his \u201crotting\u201d teeth went viral last year.<\/p>\n

In a new Instagram<\/a> video, the Pirates of the Caribbean<\/em> star was seen enjoying a vacation in the Bahamas on August 29. The video, shared by a bartender from Lorraine\u2019s Caf\u00e9 in Exuma, shows Depp behind the bar, mixing drinks.<\/p>\n

The bartender who posted the video captioned it: \u201cjacksparrow meets the killerbartender of exuma bahamas \u2026 once in a lifetime moments with mr johnny Depp.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Dark Shadows<\/em> actor, 61, appeared to be in great spirits as he shook hands with fans and even referenced a well-known Captain Jack Sparrow quote.<\/p>\n

\u201cI know why the rum will be gone,\u201d Depp quipped as he sampled some rum punch. \u201cIt\u2019s not gone yet, but I know how to make it go away.\u201d<\/p>\n

Depp, the star of <\/span>Jeanne Du Barry<\/em>, went viral when the film premiered at Cannes in May 2023, where social media users pointed out that his teeth appeared brown, discolored, and even rotten.<\/span><\/p>\n

Now, these fans are highlighting his apparent dental work, with one commenting in the video\u2019s replies: \u201cHe looks so happy! And healthy, and LOOK, he got his teeth fixed!!!!!\u201d<\/p>\n

In 1995, Depp spoke about his dental health, admitting to Premier<\/em> magazine, \u201cI\u2019ve got loads of cavities\u2026 I had a root canal done eight years ago that\u2019s unfinished. It\u2019s like a rotten little stub\u2026 But I like it. I\u2019m proud of these.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the same interview, the Oscar winner added, \u201cWhen I see people with perfect teeth, it drives me up the wall. I\u2019d rather swallow a tick than have that!\u201d The magazine noted that Depp\u2019s breath remained odorless despite his habit of chain-smoking cigarettes and sipping merlot.<\/p>\n

In 2012, Depp told The LA Times<\/em> that he insisted on putting gold caps on his teeth to play Captain Jack Sparrow, which Hello<\/em> magazine speculated might have caused permanent damage to his teeth.<\/p>\n

\u201cJerry [Bruckheimer, producer] was slightly uncomfortable, and the Disney executives weren\u2019t exactly enthusiastic about it\u2026 I said, \u2018Look, these are the choices I made. You know my work. So either trust me or give me the boot.\u2019 And luckily, they didn\u2019t.\u201d<\/p>\n
