During the \u201cAfter the Final Rose\u201d episode, Jenn disclosed that Devin \u201cbasically said that he didn\u2019t love me anymore and didn\u2019t feel the same way.\u201d Filmed crying during the live episode, Jenn explained to the show\u2019s host, <a href=\"https:\/\/hollywoodlife.com\/feature\/who-is-jesse-palmer-new-bachelor-host-3220036\/\" data-analytics-trigger=\"article-body-link\"><strong>Jesse Palmer<\/strong><\/a>, that although the finale showed them happily engaged when they left Hawaii, Devin had started to distance himself once the show ended. You shouldn\u2019t have to compromise your standards to be happy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p id=\"content-paragraph-5\">The day after the finale aired, Devin took to his Instagram stories to post screenshots\u2014now deleted\u2014of his past conversations with Jenn in an attempt to defend his decision. Per\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/screenrant.com\/bachelorette-devin-strader-exposes-private-jenn-tran-texts\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-analytics-trigger=\"article-body-link\"><em>ScreenRant<\/em><\/a>, in an X post that featured the messages, which was later removed by the user @kimchik1tty, Devin is seen responding to Jenn about why he wanted to speak in person: \u201cI wanted to tell you all of this in person because you deserved more than a phone call.\u201d<\/p>\n<p id=\"content-paragraph-6\">Their conversation continued as Jenn told Devin that his mind was already made up, to which he replied, \u201cJust last week, on Friday, you said we should break up.
