Barron Trump<\/a><\/strong> is now officially a student at New York University, where he was seen surrounded by security on his first day as a freshman.<\/p>\n

The 18-year-old arrived at the university, founded in 1831, on Wednesday, September 4. According to photos published by the New York Post<\/span><\/i><\/a>, he was dressed in a white polo shirt and black pants, accessorized with a belt, and carried his backpack over one shoulder.<\/p>\n

This sighting comes shortly after his father, Donald Trump<\/a><\/strong>, mentioned that Barron had recently chosen which college he would attend. In an interview with the New York Post<\/span><\/i><\/a>, the former president said, \u201cHe\u2019s all set at a certain school that\u2019s very good\u2026 He\u2019s always been a very good student, he\u2019s smart.\u201d<\/p>\n

As Barron begins his college life, his major remains unknown, but the former president added, \u201cI will tell you, he\u2019s a tall one, but he is a good-looking guy. And he\u2019s really been a great student. And he does like politics. It\u2019s sort of funny.\u201d<\/p>\n
