Sabrina Carpenter<\/strong> has made quite an impression.<\/p>\n On Tuesday, Billboard<\/em> announced that the pop singer\u2019s latest release, Short N\u2019 Sweet<\/em>, had debuted at No. 1 on this week\u2019s chart, with all 12 of its songs appearing on the Billboard<\/em> Hot 100.<\/p>\n This accomplishment marks the 25-year-old\u2019s first No. 1 album of her career. The opening week also saw three of Carpenter\u2019s tracks landing in the chart\u2019s top five, making her one of only three women \u2014 alongside Taylor Swift<\/strong> and Ariana Grande<\/strong> \u2014 to chart at least three songs in the top five simultaneously, according to Billboard<\/em>.<\/p>\n Carpenter\u2019s sixth studio LP debuted with 362,000 units, according to the tracking service Luminate, edging out rapper Travis Scott\u2019<\/strong>s re-released 10-year-old mixtape Days Before Rodeo<\/em>, which sold 361,000 units. It was also the third-best opening week of the year, behind Swift\u2019s Tortured Poets Department<\/em> with 2.61 million equivalent album units and Beyonc\u00e9<\/strong>\u2018s Cowboy Carter<\/em> with 407,000 equivalent album units.<\/p>\n Carpenter\u2019s popularity has surged significantly since she opened for the\u00a0folklore\u00a0<\/em>artist on the Eras Tour<\/em> and has become one of the biggest emerging pop acts since Olivia Rodrigo<\/strong>, especially with her hit \u201cEspresso,\u201d released in April. The single, filled with clever wordplay and catchy melodies, unlocked a new level of stardom for Carpenter, followed by another infectious track, \u201cPlease Please Please,\u201d which became her first No. 1 on the Hot 100.<\/p>\n In a June 17 interview with Rolling Stone<\/em>, \u201cPlease Please Please\u201d collaborator Jack Antonoff<\/strong>\u2014who also produced half of her album Short N\u2019 Sweet<\/em>\u2014praised her approach to pop music.<\/p>\n \u201cThe way she puts things, I\u2019m immediately right there with her,\u201d he said. \u201cAnd for anyone who\u2019s gotten to see her live, let alone record her, she\u2019s an unbelievable singer.
