Zayn Malik<\/a><\/strong> has the Zquad\u2019s attention after revealing he has a \u201cbig announcement coming up.\u201d<\/p>\n

The 31-year-old has been pursuing a solo career since his departure from One Direction<\/a><\/strong> in 2015. The band, also composed of Harry Styles,<\/strong><\/a> Niall Horan<\/a><\/strong>, Liam Payne<\/a><\/strong>, and Louis Tomlinson<\/a><\/strong>, saw Zayn exit with the\u00a0statement<\/span><\/a> on Facebook, \u201cMy life with One Direction has been more than I could ever have imagined. But, after five years, I feel like it is now the right time for me to leave the band\u2026 I am leaving because I want to be a normal 22-year-old who is able to relax and have some private time out of the spotlight.\u201d<\/p>\n

Since going solo, Zayn has released hits like \u201cPillow Talk,\u201d \u201cDusk Till Dawn,\u201d and his duet with Taylor Swift,\u00a0 \u201cI Don\u2019t Wanna Live Forever.\u201d In May this year, he released his fourth album, Room Under the Stairs (Z Sides)<\/em>, which features tracks such as \u201cWhat I Am\u201d and \u201cStardust.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a recent interview clip shared by a fan account on X<\/span><\/a> , he teased fans with the news: \u201cI have some interesting stuff coming out with my music pretty soon. Some pretty big announcements coming up, so if you\u2019re interested in my music at all, I\u2019ve got some cool news coming pretty soon.\u201d<\/p>\n

After hearing this, fans on social media, formerly Twitter, noticed that Zayn\u2019s official website<\/span><\/a> includes a section for tours. The page states, \u201cSORRY, THERE ARE NO SHOWS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. TO BE NOTIFIED OF NEW TOUR DATES WHEN THEY ARE ANNOUNCED, CLICK THE RSVP LINK BELOW.\u201d Although no events are currently listed, it allows fans to RSVP for updates.<\/p>\n

Fans are excited about the possibility of the former boy band star embarking on his first solo tour. One fan on X<\/span><\/a> wrote, \u201cIT\u2019S REALLY HAPPENING Y\u2019ALL, ZAYN IS GOING ON TOUR, I AM SCREAMING!!\u201d<\/p>\n

Another added<\/span><\/a>, \u201c10 years ago today was the last time I saw Zayn live, with One Direction. What do you mean there\u2019s a chance I might see him live again sometime soon?\u201d<\/p>\n
