Travis\u00a0and Jason Kelce, brothers and National Football League stars, have signed a three-year deal with Amazon<\/a>.com Inc.\u2019s Wondery for their podcast\u00a0New Heights<\/em>.<\/p>\n The arrangement, which goes into effect this month, allows Wondery to sell ads on the show\u2019s video and audio feeds and distribute it globally. It includes the program\u2019s back catalog.<\/p>\n \u201cWe love this show, and the fanbase that has grown with us over the last two seasons,\u201d the Kelce brothers said in a statement.\u00a0\u201cWe are going to create some groundbreaking moments together through this partnership.\u201d<\/p>\n The deal is worth over $100 million, according to a person familiar with the arrangement who wasn\u2019t authorized to speak about it publicly. A representative for the Kelce brothers didn\u2019t immediately respond to a request for comment.<\/p>\n Ad-free versions of the show will be made available on Wondery+, Amazon\u2019s\u00a0subscription service. The deal gives Amazon the\u00a0rights to develop, manufacture, license and distribute all merchandise based on the program.<\/p>\n New Heights<\/em>\u00a0launched in 2022 as an outlet for the brothers\u00a0to analyze football and the culture surrounding the sport. Listenership took off\u00a0after Travis began dating singer Taylor Swift the following year. It was the 14th most popular podcast in the US last quarter, according to\u00a0Edison Research<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n Swift\u2019s first appearance to see Travis at a Kansas City Chiefs game\u00a0led to a 50% increase in viewership for the show. One month later, the brothers\u2019 YouTube<\/a> channel had\u00a0grown by 350,000 subscribers,\u00a0Mack Sovereign, chief content officer at Wave Sports + Entertainment, the media company that launched the show and will continue producing it,\u00a0told<\/a>\u00a0Bloomberg News last year. Jason Kelce announced\u00a0his retirement from the Philadelphia Eagles in March.<\/p>\n Though the podcast industry as a whole has seen a retrenchment over the past year and a half, nine-figure deals still are the norm for the biggest programs. Last week, SiriusXM Holdings Inc.\u00a0signed\u00a0<\/a>a $100-million deal with Alex Cooper, host of\u00a0Call Her Daddy<\/em>.
