Maddame Tussauds just unveiled\u00a0Selena Gomez<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s wax figure, and fans are living for it. The New York City wax museum revealed the figure on Tuesday, August 27, in an Instagram<\/a> video, which was captioned, \u201cWhat a \u2018Rare Beauty\u2019 she is indeed.\u201d The caption was a reference to the 32-year-old actress\u2019 beauty brand.<\/p>\n Social media users applauded Madame Tussauds for the figure\u2019s similar appearance to that of Selena\u2019s. The figure is dressed in a black and white-checkered two-piece outfit, which the Only Murders in the Building<\/em> star previously wore in Paris while promoting Rare Beauty at Sephora.<\/p>\n \u201cIt actually looks like her omg,\u201d one X user tweeted<\/a>. \u201cThis looks so real,\u201d a second person chimed in. \u201cFor a second I thought she was real WTF,\u201d another added.<\/p>\n The Hulu star has had a busy year. She returned to her Disney Channel roots by starring in the Wizards of Waverly Place<\/em> sequel series, was nominated for an Emmy Award for Only Murders in the Building<\/em>, released multiple songs and has been working hard on Rare Beauty.<\/p>\n While speaking with TIME<\/em><\/a> in May, Selena emphasized that she doesn\u2019t want her company to \u201cgive off the vibe\u201d that people have to wear makeup. When asked what she thinks about the double standard of either wearing makeup or going bare-faced, she called societal beauty pressures \u201cbulls**t.\u201d<\/p>\n When it comes to her music career, Selena hasn\u2019t toured since 2016. She opened up about this during her interview, noting that while \u201cnothing makes [her] happier than 90 minutes of being with [her] fans and just celebrating together,\u201d she finds touring \u201cemotionally draining.\u201d<\/p>\n Aside from her multi-faceted entertainment career, Selena has also been dating record producer Benny Blanco<\/strong><\/a> since mid-2023.
