After its Venice Film Festival premiere, the film will be released in theaters at the end of this year. Hollywood Life<\/strong> has compiled all the details about Babygirl<\/em>, below.<\/p>\n

What Is A24\u2019s \u2018Babygirl\u2019 Movie About?<\/h2>\n

According to its official synopsis, the A24 movie follows a \u201chigh-powered CEO [who] puts her career and family on the line when she begins a torrid affair with her much younger intern.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nicole plays Romy, while Harris Dickinson<\/strong> plays Samuel and Antonio Banderas<\/strong><\/a> plays Jacob.<\/p>\n

\u2018Babygirl\u2019 Release Date<\/h2>\n

After the film premieres at the Venice Film Festival between August 28 and September 7, it is expected to be released on December 25, 2024.<\/p>\n

What Has Nicole Kidman Said About \u2018Babygirl\u2019?<\/h2>\n

Ahead of the Venice Film Festival, Nicole sat down with Vanity Fair<\/em> <\/a>to discuss the erotic thriller, which she noted is the most exposed she\u2019s ever felt in a role.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve made some films that are pretty exposing, but not like this,\u201d she told the publication in an interview published on August 26. \u201cIt left me ragged. At some point I was like, \u2018I don\u2019t want to be touched. I don\u2019t want to do this anymore,\u2019 but at the same time, I was compelled to do it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nicole recalled feeling \u201cvery exposed as an actor, as a woman [and] as a human being\u201d during production.<\/p>\n

\u201cI had to go in and go out like, \u2018I need to put my protection back on,’\u201d she added while remembering her experience. \u2018What have I just done? Where did I go? What did I do?\u2019 It\u2019s like, Golly, I\u2019m doing this, and it\u2019s actually now going to be seen by the world. That\u2019s a very weird feeling. This is something you do and hide in your home videos. It is not a thing that normally is going to be seen by the world.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nicole didn\u2019t specify what scenes made her feel uncomfortable, but she credited the film\u2019s writer and director, Halina Reijn, for helping her on set.<\/p>\n

\u201cHalina would hold me, and I would hold her because it was just very confronting to me,\u201d Nicole explained. \u201cIt was being able to talk unbelievably honestly and graphically \u2014 and that\u2019s woman-to-woman, as though you are sitting on your bed and talking to your sister or your best friend. That\u2019s incredibly safe. Halina has a very strong maternal instinct, so she was very protective of all of us. But particularly me.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
