\nSix months after its debut season concluded, a decision has been made about the future of Criminal Record: The crime thriller is officially returning for Season 2 on Apple TV+.<\/p>\n

The renewal news was seemingly hinted at back in February by series star Cush Jumbo during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. When asked if a second season was in the works, Jumbo responded, \u201cThere will be, yeah.\u201d At that time, however, an Apple representative informed TVLine that Criminal Record had not yet been officially renewed.\n <\/p>\n

Criminal Record features Cush Jumbo (The Good Fight) and Peter Capaldi (Doctor Who) as two exceptional detectives \u2014 one a young woman just beginning her career, the other a well-connected man intent on preserving his reputation. In Season 1, they found themselves at odds over a decades-old murder case that resurfaced following an anonymous tip. The first season also starred Aysha Kala, Shaun Dooley, Tom Moutchi, Charlie Creed-Miles, Dionne Brown, Zo\u00eb Wanamaker, Cathy Tyson, and Stephen Campbell Moore.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
