Former President Barack Obama<\/strong> took a series of jabs at Donald Trump<\/strong> during his speech at the Democratic National Convention on Tuesday, August 20. One notable moment included Obama mocking the Republican nominee\u2019s \u201cweird obsession with crowd sizes\u201d while making a provocative gesture with his hands.<\/p>\n

As he closed out a night of speeches, including his wife Michelle Obama<\/strong>\u2018s energizing address, the 44th president told the crowd in Chicago that he was \u201cfeeling fired up and ready to go.\u201d<\/p>\n

In his enthusiastic support of Vice President Kamala Harris<\/strong> as the Democratic Party\u2019s nominee, Obama explained why his successor must be denied a return to the White House.<\/p>\n

\u201cHere is a 78-year-old billionaire who has not stopped whining about his problems since he rode down his golden escalator nine years ago,\u201d the 63-year-old said. \u201cIt has been a constant stream of gripes and grievances that\u2019s actually been getting worse now that he\u2019s afraid of losing to Kamala.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s the childish nicknames, the crazy conspiracy theories, this weird obsession with crowd sizes,\u201d he added, gesturing with his hands to indicate different sizes before looking down at them jokingly. \u201cIt just goes on and on.\u201d<\/p>\n

The innuendo earned cheers, claps, and laughter from the crowd of party faithful gathered at the United Center. It also quickly went viral on social media, with many praising Obama for his \u201cperfect comedic delivery.\u201d<\/p>\n

One user on X<\/a> posted, \u201cThe weird obsession with crowd size <\/span>hand gesture<\/span> will absolutely make history! \ud83d\ude02<\/span>\u00a0Thank you Obama for just being you and nailing the zingers just at the right time \ud83e\ude75\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Another user on X<\/a> added, \u201cBest physical joke in modern political history.\u201d<\/p>\n

While many celebrated the moment, noting that Obama may be the only politician who could make such a joke without it being entirely crass, he was, as expected, chastised by Trump supporters.<\/p>\n

Conservative commentator Todd Starnes<\/strong> on X<\/a> said, \u201cBarack Hussein Obama weighs in on the size of President Trump\u2019s private parts\u201d while adding hashtags of the words weird and creepy.<\/p>\n

After the risqu\u00e9 joke, Obama continued by commenting on Trump\u2019s antics, saying he goes \u201con and on and on like an annoying neighbor who keeps running his leaf blower outside your window every minute of every day.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe do not need four more years of bluster and bumbling and chaos. We have seen that movie before, and we all know that the sequel is usually worse,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
