Simone Biles<\/strong> recently shared that she was left dumbfounded when a nightclub in Paris attempted to charge her a staggering $26,000 for a single bottle of champagne following the 2024 Olympic closing ceremony.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe had closing ceremonies at the Olympics. I went, and after that, we went out,\u201d Biles\u2014who took home three gold medals and a silver at the Paris Games earlier this month\u2014recalled in a TikTok video<\/a> posted Monday. \u201cYou guys, this club tried to charge me $26,000 for a bottle of champagne.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cObviously, I didn\u2019t buy it. But why would you even try to play me like that? Like, that\u2019s wild.\u201d<\/p>\n

The gymnast, often referred to as the GOAT (Greatest of All Time), admitted, \u201cAnd I don\u2019t know, sometimes the attention, I\u2019d rather not have it. I\u2019d rather just be as normal as possible\u2026 I don\u2019t know.\u201d<\/p>\n

Biles did not disclose the name of the club where the incident occurred, although she had posted photos of herself clubbing with her sister Adria<\/strong> at L\u2019Arc Paris\u2014a nightclub in the French capital\u2019s 16th arrondissement\u2014to celebrate her success.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe reason I\u2019m unwell this morning,\u201d Biles captioned a snap showing a bottle parade at the venue, complete with champagne, sparklers, a sign that read, \u201cGym Legend Simone Biles @L\u2019Arc Paris,\u201d and another sign dubbing her \u201cGod 4 Life.\u201d<\/p>\n

Additionally, in her \u201cGet Ready with Me\u201d TikTok video, Biles mentioned that she has yet to determine which Chicago Bears games she\u2019ll attend this season to support her husband, Jonathan Owens<\/strong>, a veteran safety who signed a two-year deal with Chicago in March.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not sure how many games I\u2019ll be able to make because in a few weeks we go on tour,\u201d she said, referring to the Athleta Presents Gold Over America Tour, which is headlined by Biles.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think right now we\u2019re doing about 32 stops [on the tour].\u201d<\/p>\n

The Gold Over America Tour is advertised as bringing \u201cjaw-dropping athletic brilliance and high-energy choreography coupled with inspirational messages of hope, strength, resilience, and determination\u201d to arenas across the U.S. this fall. Biles will be joined by her U.S. women\u2019s gymnastics teammates Jade Carey<\/strong> and Jordan Chiles<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
