Donald Trump<\/a> <\/strong>is making headlines again, this time for involving Taylor Swift\u2019s<\/a><\/strong> fans, aka Swifties, in his political campaign.<\/p>\n The 78-year-old politician appeared to use artificial intelligence to attract more attention. In a post shared on Truth Social<\/span><\/a>\u00a0on Sunday, August 18, he posted several images of women wearing shirts that read \u201cSwifties for Trump,\u201d along with a photoshopped picture of Uncle Sam featuring the 34-year-old singer\u2019s face and the caption \u201cTaylor wants you to vote for Donald Trump.\u201d Trump responded to the images by writing, \u201cI accept!\u201d<\/p>\n Although the \u201cKarma\u201d singer has not made any public comment about this, her fans quickly came to her defense. On X<\/span><\/a>\u00a0(formerly Twitter), one user wrote, \u201cTaylor Swift should sue him.\u201d Another fan chimed in<\/span><\/a> to Trump\u2019s move by sharing a tweet from the pop star in 2020, where she criticized his presidency, saying, \u201cAfter stoking the fires of white supremacy and racism your entire presidency, you have the nerve to feign moral superiority before threatening violence? \u2018When the looting starts the shooting starts\u2019??? The woman claimed, \u201cI never thought I\u2019d see the day that Swifties were rallying for Trump\u2026 I guess something with ISIS happened. There\u2019s a lot of terrorism going on. I guess she had to shut down shows because of it, and a lot of them are just saying, \u2018You know, if Trump was in office, this would have never ever happened.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n While Taylor Swift has not publicly declared her political allegiance in this election, it was previously mentioned in a book titled Apprentice in Wonderland: How Donald Trump and Mark Burnett Took America Through the Looking Glass<\/em> that Trump had commented, \u201cShe\u2019s beautiful\u2014very beautiful! I find her very beautiful. I think she\u2019s liberal. She probably doesn\u2019t like Trump.
