Bruno Mars<\/strong><\/a> invited \u201cpop royalty\u201d onto the stage during his Los Angeles concert on Thursday, August 15. After introducing Lady Gaga<\/strong><\/a> to the large crowd, the duo sang their latest single, \u201cDie With a Smile,\u201d<\/a> for the first time. Bruno, 38, played guitar and Gaga, 38, took the keyboard while belting out their doomsday-themed love story song.<\/p>\n For the performance, the \u201cPoker Face\u201d hitmaker wore a tall blonde wig, a sparkling pink and white plaid mini dress and white high heels. For his part, the \u201cUptown Funk\u201d artist sported a pink collared T-shirt and black pants.<\/p>\n Countless celebrities were in attendance for Bruno\u2019s show. The song and its accompanying music video dropped on Friday, August 16, at midnight ET.<\/p>\n The track\u2019s lyrics point to lovers who promise to stay together even if they\u2019re hit with the apocalypse.<\/p>\n \u201cIf the world was ending \/ I\u2019d wanna be next to you,\u201d both Gaga and Bruno sing in the chorus. \u201cIf the party was over \/ And our time on Earth was through \/ I\u2019d wanna hold you just for a while \/ And die with a smile \/ If the world was ending \/ I\u2019d wanna be next to you.\u201d<\/p>\n The song\u2019s release came as fans speculated over a possible collab between the award-winning musicians. Earlier this week, Gaga shared an Instagram video of herself rocking a Bruno T-shirt while playing piano. Most took this as a hint at their upcoming duet.<\/p>\n Previously, Bruno and Gaga had Las Vegas residencies that nearly aligned with one another. In June, the \u201cJust the Way You Are\u201d artist said he wanted to perform with the A Star Is Born<\/em> actress.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019d love to do [a song] with her,\u201d Bruno told the Las Vegas Review Journal<\/em><\/a>. \u201cI\u2019ve got to at least sing with her, on her [residency].\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n\n
