Half the internet was convinced that Lady Gaga<\/strong><\/a> and Bruno Mars<\/strong><\/a> collaborated on a secret song together. Over the past few months, rumors circulated that Gaga, 38, and Bruno, 38, will release a song titled, \u201cDie With a Smile.\u201d And it looks like social media sleuths were absolutely right \u2014 the fellow musicians announced that their single will be released on Friday, August 15, at midnight ET along with a music video!<\/p>\n \u201cWHILE YOU WAIT TILL LG7\u2026\u2019DIE WITH A SMILE a duet with @brunomars Song and video tonight at 9pm PT [sic],\u201d Gaga captioned an Instagram<\/a> post on Thursday, August 15. In it, she included the single\u2019s cover, featuring her and Bruno wearing matching light blue outfits with red accessories.<\/p>\n On Tuesday, August 13, fans noticed that Gaga reacted to Bruno\u2019s recent Instagram post. The \u201cWhen I Was Your Man\u201d hitmaker shared a video montage of himself in Mexico, and the A Star Is Born<\/em> actress commented with several black heart emojis and a laughing emoji. Although the comment was short and sweet, fans didn\u2019t waste time in bombarding Gaga with responses.<\/p>\n \u201cSO IS IT REAL?\u201d one wrote, seemingly referring to the rumors of a collab. \u201cNot mother monster in the chat,\u201d another chimed in, referring to the pop singer\u2019s nickname.<\/p>\n That day, Gaga shared an Instagram video of herself playing piano. In the clip, she was wearing a Bruno T-shirt, which many believed was an intentional tease.<\/p>\n \u201cI SEE YOU BRUNO Omg can\u2019t wait,\u201d one fan commented under Gaga\u2019s post. \u201cShe made sure we saw the shirt,\u201d another fan speculated. Even MTV\u2019s Instagram account weighed in by pointing out, \u201cWHAT A TEASE,\u201d in a comment.<\/p>\n In June, Bruno discussed the potential of performing with the \u201cLove Game\u201d hitmaker during an interview with the Las Vegas Review Journal<\/em><\/a>. At the time, his and Gaga\u2019s residency shows nearly aligned, but they missed each other by four days.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019d love to do [a song] with her,\u201d Bruno told the publication, before adding, \u201cI\u2019ve got to at least sing with her, on her [Las Vegas residency].\u201d<\/p>\n This wasn\u2019t the first time that Gaga was rumored to have collaborated with a well-known artist.
