It&#8217;s a stronger alternative to passwords, which can be guessed or stolen. Even <a data-i13n=\"elm:context_link;elmt:doNotAffiliate;cpos:5;pos:1\" class=\"link \" href=\"https:\/\/www.engadget.com\/1password-adds-passkey-support-for-android-140058482.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:password managers;elm:context_link;elmt:doNotAffiliate;cpos:5;pos:1;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\"><\/a> have been moving to offer a passkey option for customers.<\/p>\n<p>For X users, you&#8217;ll still need a password in order to create an account.
