Kylie Jenner<\/strong> is getting candid about her experience with postpartum depression following the birth of her daughter, Stormi Webster<\/strong>, 6, and her two-year-old son, Aire Webster<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The 27-year-old recently opened up to British Vogue<\/em> <\/a>about her journey as a young mom and shared details of her postpartum depression, which lasted about a year after the birth of each of her children, whom she shares with ex-Travis Scott<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m going to be 27, and I\u2019m finally feeling like myself again,\u201d Jenner told the magazine. \u201cAnd [looking back], I think, being pregnant, I wore sweatpants every day, I didn\u2019t have time to figure out even some of the little things in my life, and then postpartum lasted a year. Mentally, it\u2019s really hard. Hormonally, it\u2019s really hard.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jenner mentioned that she has always acted beyond her years, so she didn\u2019t fully realize how young\u2014she was only 20 when she had Stormi\u2014she was when she first became pregnant.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was wild\u2026 It didn\u2019t hit me [straight away]. But it was a huge life change,\u201d she confessed.<\/p>\n

Even though the duration of her postpartum depression was about the same after both births, Jenner revealed that the symptoms were even more intense the second time, giving her \u201cmajor baby blues.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt hit me differently both times,\u201d the Kardashians<\/em> star explained. \u201cProbably with my son, it was major baby blues, so I was just so emotional over things that I probably wouldn\u2019t be that emotional about. On the phone with my mom all day, hysterically crying, saying, \u2018I can\u2019t figure out his name.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

The beauty mogul continued, \u201cNow my advice to all my friends having children is to pick the name before, because when the hormones hit, you can\u2019t make decisions. You can\u2019t.\u201d<\/p>\n

The mom of two admitted that she felt like a \u201cfailure\u201d when she couldn\u2019t name her son.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I met him, he was just the most beautiful thing to me, and I couldn\u2019t believe just how perfect he was. I felt like such a failure that I couldn\u2019t name him,\u201d she said. \u201cHe deserved so much more than that. It just really triggered me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Since welcoming her eldest, the Kylie Cosmetics founder has come to further appreciate the balance and perspective her children bring to her daily life.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo matter what I\u2019m going through or what I look like or what the internet writes about me that day,\u201d she noted, \u201cI come home, and my kids just love me unconditionally. They\u2019re just obsessed with me, and that\u2019s taught me to walk through life a little easier. I\u2019m like, \u2018OK, well, I have these little humans at home that need me and love me and think I\u2019m the most perfect person in the world, so I don\u2019t really need validation from outside sources.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
