Apparently, George Clooney<\/strong><\/a> won\u2019t be making movies with Quentin Tarantino<\/strong> anytime soon. During a new interview, the 63-year-old Ocean\u2019s 11<\/em> star said that the 61-year-old seasoned filmmaker can \u201cf**k off\u201d and explained why he\u2019s \u201cirritated\u201d by him.<\/p>\n \u201cQuentin said some s**t about me recently, so I\u2019m a little irritated by him,\u201d George told GQ<\/em><\/a> in a cover story with Brad Pitt<\/strong><\/a> that was published on Tuesday, August 13. \u201cHe did some interview where he was naming movie stars, and he was talking about [Brad] and somebody else, and then this [interviewer] goes, \u2018Well, what about George?\u2019 He goes, \u2018He\u2019s not a movie star.’\u201d<\/p>\n The Descendants<\/em> actor continued by claiming that the Django Unchained<\/em> director, \u201cliterally said something like, \u2018Name me a movie since the millennium.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cAnd I was like, \u2018Since the millennium\u2018?\u2019 That\u2019s kind of my whole f**king career,\u201d George added. \u201cSo now, I\u2019m like, all right, dude, f**k off. I don\u2019t mind giving him s**t. He gave me s**t.\u201d<\/p>\n While discussing his and Brad\u2019s upcoming movie, Wolfs<\/em>, George pointed out that they\u2019ve been \u201creally lucky\u201d to have worked with \u201cgreat directors,\u201d noting that the \u201cdirector and screenplay is what keeps you alive.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cAnd I learned that after doing some really bad films,\u201d the Up in the Air<\/em> star pointed out. \u201cYou can\u2019t make a good film out of a bad script. You can\u2019t do it. You can make a bad film out of a good script.\u201d<\/p>\n It\u2019s unclear where or when Quentin allegedly said that George is \u201cnot a movie star.\u201d The two co-starred in the 1996 film From Dusk Till Dawn\u00a0<\/em>and haven\u2019t worked together since.<\/p>\n During his GQ<\/em> interview with Brad, 60, George acknowledged that Hollywood has changed since they started out in the business.<\/p>\n \u201cWell, they haven\u2019t developed stars the way the studio system used to,\u201d George said. \u201cWe kind of were at the very end of that, where you could work at a studio and do three or four films, and there was some plan to it. And I don\u2019t think that\u2019s necessarily the case anymore.
