Blake Lively<\/strong>\u00a0<\/a>spilled what she\u2019s \u201cnot supposed to be talking about\u201d when it comes to her latest movie, It Ends With Us<\/em><\/a>. During a recent interview with Hits Radio UK<\/em><\/a> published on August 10, the 36-year-old actress revealed where she and the crew didn\u2019t see eye to eye amid ongoing rumors of tension.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey begged me to take that song out of the movie,\u201d Blake said, referring to Lana Del Rey<\/strong>\u2018s song \u201cCherry,\u201d which was used in the film. \u201cI\u2019m not supposed to be talking about this. \u2026 They felt like it was too charged and heavy.\u201d<\/p>\n

It Ends With Us<\/em> is based on Colleen Hoover<\/strong>\u2018s book of the same name. The story follows Blake\u2019s character, Lilly Bloom, who is in an abusive relationship with Ryle (played by director and star Justin Baldoni<\/strong>). After reconnecting with her past flame, Atlas (played by Brandon Sklenar<\/strong>), Lilly must come to terms with her feelings and whether or not she has a future with either of them.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere in her interview, Blake explained how the film\u2019s tone shifts once Atlas comes into the picture.<\/p>\n

\u201cLike, there\u2019s conflict, there\u2019s pain, there\u2019s turmoil, there\u2019s tension because you\u2019re like, \u2018Oh my god, my soulmate, the one that got away in my life, this person who\u2019s haunting me and everything I do and everywhere I go is here now and we still had that connection,’\u201d the A Simple Favor<\/em> star said. \u201cYou can be deeply in love with this person, but this person comes in and you\u2019re like\u2014your insides are gonna be a mess.\u201d<\/p>\n

Blake\u2019s recent comments came just days after social media blew up over a rumored rift between her and Justin, 40. Many assumed that Justin\u2019s absences from various promotional events was an indication that the cast didn\u2019t get along with their director and co-star. Moreover, multiple outlets reported that there were differences between Justin and Blake while filming the movie.<\/p>\n

Earlier this week, PEOPLE<\/em><\/a> reported that the alleged issues between Justin and Blake actually involved the entire cast and even author Colleen.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere is much more to this story,\u201d a source told the publication. \u201cThe principal cast and Colleen Hoover will have nothing to do with him.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, neither Blake nor Justin has publicly reacted to the feud rumors.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
