The MediaTek vs. Qualcomm battle in the top of the line mobile chipset space will be more interesting than ever later this year when the former’s Dimensity 9400<\/a> and the latter’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4<\/a> will be released.<\/p>\n Today a new rumor from Digital Chat Station on Weibo sheds some light on what we can expect from the Dimensity 9400, and it’s good news. Apparently its single-core CPU performance will be about 30% better than it was in the Dimensity 9300 launched last year, which, we have to mention, was absolutely no slouch either.<\/p>\n The large core reportedly only needs 30% of the power consumption of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3’s CPU to accomplish the same tasks, because energy efficiency has been greatly improved too.
