Honor, vivo, and OnePlus (as well as Oppo and Realme) are switching to silicon-carbon cells that offer higher energy density, but not necessarily the fastest charging we’ve seen.

We have already seen the vivo X Fold3 has a 5,500 mAh battery with 80W charging in a 4.7 mm thin body, while the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro sports a 6,100 mAh cell with 100W charging. We have to wait and see what device will Xiaomi pick to be the first with the new battery technology.

Source (in Chinese)

[ad_2]

Source link

[ad_1] Xiaomi was once the first company to launch a smartphone with over 200W wired charging but is now switching its attention to building bigger

[165
