The introduction of the new 11\u201d and 13\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsmarena.com\/compare.php3?idPhone1=12984&amp;idPhone2=12985\">iPad Air<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsmarena.com\/compare.php3?&amp;idPhone1=12986&amp;idPhone2=12987\">iPad Pro<\/a> models helped Cupertino jump in market share around the globe. China was the only outlier as stiff coemption from local brands Huawei and Xiaomi served as detriment to Apple.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"inline-image\" width=\"1200\" height=\"799\" src=\"https:\/\/fdn.gsmarena.com\/imgroot\/news\/24\/08\/idc-tablet-shipments-q2-2024\/inline\/-1200w5\/gsmarena_002.jpg\" alt=\"IDC: Tablet market rebounds, Apple leads the way \"\/><\/p>\n<p>Samsung came in second place with 6.9 million shipments for the period, growing to a 20.1% market share.  Lenovo came in third place with 2.5 million shipments and a 7.3% market share. Huawei shipped 2.3 million tablets and earned a 6.8% market share fueled by strong demand for its recent MatePad series devices.<\/p>\n<p>Xiaomi was the fifth leading vendor with its 2 million shipments and 5.8% market share.
