Seven of those states are currently committed to implementing digital wallet access, according to <a data-i13n=\"cpos:5;pos:1\" href=\"https:\/\/9to5mac.com\/2024\/06\/29\/apple-wallet-digital-ids-support-states\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:9to5Mac;cpos:5;pos:1;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \"><em><\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Google Wallet is also accepted in four states including Arizona, Colorado, Georgia and Maryland. Phone users with Android 8 or high can save their IDs to Google Wallet. This feature is not yet available for foldable devices, according to <a data-i13n=\"cpos:6;pos:1\" href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/wallet\/answer\/12436402?hl=en\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Google\u2019s help section;cpos:6;pos:1;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \"><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Apple added the ability to store driver\u2019s licenses in the digital wallet app with <a data-i13n=\"cpos:7;pos:1\" href=\"https:\/\/www.engadget.com\/apple-wallet-drivers-license-ios-15-tsa-174600256.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:iOS 15 in 2021;cpos:7;pos:1;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \"><\/a>. Apple Wallet is also recognized as an accepted form of identification or access in other societal sectors.
