Huawei will launch its new foldable, the Huawei nova Flip, on August 5 (Monday) at 19:00 local time. The phone will be promoted by TFBoys\u2019 Jackson Yee at an event that will be livestreamed on bilibili<\/a>. In fact, the video sharing platform already hosts a few early unboxing videos<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Huawei nova Flip will be available in four colorways at launch: New Green, Sakura Pink, Zero White and Starry Black. Of those, the green one appears to be the hero color as it shows up in basically all promo images. Here\u2019s a look at all of the colors:<\/p>\n

The rectangular display is a departure from Huawei\u2019s other flip foldable, the Pocket 2<\/a>, which has a 1.15\u201d circular display.<\/p>\n

Yesterday, a leak<\/a> revealed some of the key features of the phone like a 120Hz LTPO OLED inner display and a 2.14\u201d cover display. The battery will have a capacity of 4,400mAh (120mAh less than the Pocket 2) and will support 66W wired charging. The phone will be powered by one of the Kirin 9000-series chips with 12GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. There will be a 50+8MP camera on the back and a 32MP internal selfie cam. All of this will supposedly fit inside a 6.88mm, 195g body (or a bit more, depending on the colorway). These details have not been confirmed officially.<\/p>\n
