Jax Taylor<\/strong> <\/a>is seeking in-patient treatment amid his separation from estranged wife Brittany Cartwright<\/a>.<\/strong> A rep for the former Vanderpunp Rules<\/em> star, 45, recently confirmed that he has been struggling with this \u201csensitive time\u201d in his family.<\/p>\n

\u201cJax has always been candid about his mental health struggles, especially during the past few months on his podcast,\u201d the rep told TMZ<\/em><\/a> on Tuesday, July 30. \u201cHe has made the decision to seek inpatient treatment. This is a particularly sensitive time for him and his family. They ask for privacy and respect until he is ready to speak more on this matter.\u201d<\/p>\n

Over the past several months, viewers watched the cracks deepened in Brittany, 35, and Jax\u2019s relationship on The Valley<\/em>. Eventually, the pair decided to split. They announced their separation in February on their podcast, \u201cWhen Reality Hits.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMany of you guys have been asking me about Jax and I and our relationship,\u201d Brittany said. \u201cI just think it\u2019s important to be real and honest with you guys because our life is definitely \u2014 we\u2019ve shared so much of our life with you guys. So, I feel like \u2026 I don\u2019t want to seem like I\u2019m lying or anything like that so I think it\u2019s important for me to say this.\u201d<\/p>\n

In June, Jax revealed to his and Brittany\u2019s podcast viewers that he found an \u201camazing\u201d doctor whom he could discuss his \u201cserious, serious anger issues\u201d with. Additionally, he explained to fans that he and Brittany were \u201ctrying to live separately\u201d and \u201ctrying to possibly date other people\u201d while ultimately figuring out \u201cwhat works for us\u201d amid their separation.<\/p>\n

The estranged spouses first started dating in 2015. Three years later, they announced their engagement. In June 2019, they got married in Kentucky.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
