Halsey<\/strong><\/a> has released a candid message about their health<\/a>, revealing that she nearly died from lupus and a rare T-cell disease. The 29-year-old took to Tumblr<\/a> earlier this week and dropped a few shocking revelations, including the near-fatal experience and that the \u201cHim & I\u201d hitmaker regrets \u201ccoming back\u201d into the spotlight.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy own fans are hands down meaner to me than any other people on the planet,\u201d Halsey began their post, before adding, \u201cNot speaking for all of you, of course. But it used to be just a minority that were awful to me and now it seems like a majority have only stuck around to chime in occasionally with their opinion of how much they hate me or how awful I am.\u201d<\/p>\n

While noting that \u201cit\u2019s hard to want to engage in a space that is completely devoid of any kindness, sympathy, patience; or to be honest human decency,\u201d the \u201cGasoline\u201d <\/span>artist pointed out that she nearly \u201clost\u201d their life.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cEspecially after years of hiding from the interactions for fear that this EXACT thing would happen,\u201d <\/span>Halsey continued. I don\u2019t know, man. I almost lost my life.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Although it\u2019s unclear what exactly led to Halsey\u2019s vulnerable post, they pointed out that they are \u201cnot gonna do anything that doesn\u2019t make me happy anymore,\u201d adding, \u201cI can\u2019t spiritually afford it.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I got sick, all I could think about was getting better so I could come back and be a part of THIS again, but I don\u2019t even know what *this* is anymore and I want to crawl in a hole and I regret coming back,\u201d Halsey concluded.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The \u201cNot Mad Anymore\u201d singer\u2019s message comes nearly two months after she revealed her diagnosis with lupus and T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder. While releasing new music about her health journey in June, Halsey noted in an Instagram caption that they\u2019re \u201clucky to be alive.\u201d<\/p>\n

Halsey has been managing multiple health setbacks for years. In 2022, the \u201cWithout Me\u201d hitmaker revealed she had been diagnosed with several conditions: Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, Sjogren\u2019s syndrome, mast cell activation syndrome and postural tachycardia syndrome. She also has endometriosis.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
