Brat Summer and Hot Girl Summer are coming together for a very special campaign event for Vice President\u00a0Kamala Harris<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0Megan Thee Stallion<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>signed on to perform at an Atlanta rally on Harris\u2019 presidential run on Tuesday, July 30. The \u201cSavage\u201d rapper, 29, revealed that she\u2019ll be taking part in the event on Instagram on Monday, July 29.<\/p>\n

After President\u00a0Joe Biden\u00a0<\/strong>announced that he was bowing out of the 2024 election, Harris has been hitting the campaign trail hard, and she\u2019s expected to win the nomination at the DNC, after the president endorsed her. She\u2019s set to appear at the George State Convocation Center. Megan posted a photo of herself with \u201cKamala\u201d and \u201cATL\u201d printed on it, teasing the event for 7:30. \u201cATL HOTTIES SEE YOU TOMORROW,\u201d she wrote with an American flag and blue heart emoji.<\/p>\n

Megan has not shied away from using her music to support causes that are very important to her.<\/a> When she performed on Saturday Night Live\u00a0<\/em>in 2020, she called for justice for\u00a0Breonna Taylor<\/strong>, which she also did on her Good News <\/em>album track \u201cShots Fired.\u201d<\/p>\n

Harris has received so much support from the music world since announcing her candidacy. One of the first major musicians to endorse her was\u00a0Charli XCX<\/strong>, who released one of the year\u2019s most critically-acclaimed albums\u00a0brat<\/em>. With the term \u201cBrat Summer\u201d taking off thanks to Charli\u2019s record, the \u201cApple\u201d singer tweeted her support<\/a> for the vice president. \u201cKamala IS brat,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n

Beyonce <\/strong>has also apparently shown support for Harris\u2019 presidential run for the Oval Office. In the first campaign ad<\/a>, Queen B\u2019s song \u201cFreedom\u201d was featured. The\u00a0Cowboy Carter\u00a0<\/em>singer is very meticulous about where her music can be used, and allowing it to be used in Harris\u2019 video is seemingly a cosign.\u00a0 Cardi B\u00a0<\/strong>also seemingly showed support, taking to X (formerly Twitter) after the VP announced that she\u2019d be running. \u201cLETS GOOOOO I TOLD YALLL KAMALA WAS SUPPOSED TO BE THE 2024 candidate,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
