Elon Musk\u2019s transgender daughter, Vivian Jenna Wilson, is speaking out after her father said she was \u201ckilled by the woke mind virus.\u201d In her first interview, the 20-year-old has described the billionaire as a cruel absentee parent.<\/p>\n
\u201cI think he was under the assumption that I wasn\u2019t going to say anything and I would just let this go unchallenged,\u201d Wilson told NBC News<\/em><\/a>. \u201cWhich I\u2019m not going to do, because if you\u2019re going to lie about me, like, blatantly to an audience of millions, I\u2019m not just gonna let that slide.\u201d<\/p>\n Wilson, who legally filed to change her name and gender when she turned 18 in 2022, revealed that she\u2019s not spoken to the Tesla<\/a> CEO in nearly four years\u2014but even growing up, she alleged that he was rarely present and described his demeanor as \u201ccold.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cHe was there, I want to say, maybe 10% of the time. That\u2019s generous,\u201d she said, adding that during these periods, he\u2019d pressure her to appear more masculine<\/p>\n \u201cI was in fourth grade. We went on this road trip that I didn\u2019t know was actually just an advertisement for one of the cars\u2014I don\u2019t remember which one\u2014and he was constantly yelling at me viciously because my voice was too high,\u201d Wilson said. \u201cIt was cruel.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cHe\u2019s very quick to anger,\u201d added Wilson, one of six children Musk shares with his ex-wife Justine Wilson. \u201cHe is uncaring and narcissistic.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n Wilson, who told the outlet that she first came out as gay in eighth grade, also denied Musk\u2019s claim that he had been \u201ctricked\u201d into authorizing trans-related medical care for Wilson when she was 16.<\/p>\n \u201cHe was not by any means tricked. He knew the full side effects,\u201d she said, while adding that her father read over medical documents about the care at least twice.<\/p>\n \u201cThey save lives. Let\u2019s not get that twisted,\u201d Wilson added. \u201cThey definitely allowed me to thrive.\u201d<\/p>\n Fortune<\/em> has reached out to Musk and Wilson for comment.<\/p>\n Musk, during a recent live-streamed interview with psychologist and conservative commentator Jordan Peterson on his platform X<\/a>, misgendered Wilson, used her dead name (the birth name of a transgender person), and described her coming out as transgender as being \u201ckilled by the woke mind virus.\u201d<\/p>\n It was during this interview that the billionaire also claimed he was \u201ctricked\u201d into allowing Wilson to undergo transgender-related medical treatment for her when she was 16.<\/p>\n \u201cI lost my son, essentially,\u201d he said. \u201cThey call it \u2018deadnaming\u2019 for a reason.
