Haliey Welch<\/a><\/strong>, better known as the \u201cHawk Tuah\u201d girl is the latest person to go viral on the internet.<\/p>\n The Gen Z star gained fame after an interview of hers went viral, but it was her unique response of \u201cHawk Tuah\u201d that caught everyone\u2019s attention. This clip catapulted Hailey into internet stardom with her hilarious personality. She went from working at home taking care of her grandma and studying in college to being a full time content creator.<\/p>\n In an interview on the \u201cViall Files<\/a>\u201d podcast, she noted how new she was to this lifestyle, especially since she hadn\u2019t traveled much before. \u201cIt\u2019s been something I\u2019ve never experienced before, like going everywhere. I had never been to New York before, today\u2019s my first day in L.A.,\u201d she told host Nick Viall<\/a><\/strong>. \u201cI\u2019ve been on a few plane rides but like two weeks ago that was my first time. It scared the s**t out of me.\u201d<\/p>\n As her life changed overnight, she reflected on missing her past life. \u201cIt\u2019s like a fever dream. It still doesn\u2019t feel real to me yet like getting to do all this fun stuff and going out and doing this and that. It doesn\u2019t feel real \u2013 I\u2019ll wake up the next day like there\u2019s no way I\u2019d done that.\u201d<\/p>\n The term she uses, \u201cHawk Tuah,\u201d has its own meaning based on the context. Haliey revealed that this is a word she used in the past with her cousin. \u201cSo my little cousin that I\u2019m really close with, we\u2019ve always joked\u2026 We use it in a different way like you know I\u2019m gonna \u2018hawk tuah\u2019 \u2014 we\u2019re going to say it and spit on somebody because they made you mad. But I use it in a different tense at times.\u201d<\/p>\n She plans to leverage her platform for good. \u201cI want to kind of run with it for a little bit. I want to do charity work\u2026We just did something with PetSmart. Like I bought a whole bunch of stuff from PetSmart and donated it to an animal shelter a little bit outside of Nashville\u2026 I want to do more stuff like that and we\u2019re doing something up here with the orphanage.\u201d She emphasized the importance of using one\u2019s platform for greater causes. \u201cI mean you\u2019ve got all this money and you\u2019re not doing anything useful with it. I want to do something useful with it, because what am I gonna do with it?\u201d<\/p>\n Haliey\u2019s rise to fame and her genuine personality have made her a relatable figure on the internet, and her aspirations for charity work reflect her desire to make a positive impact.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
