Jennifer Aniston<\/strong><\/a> has criticized Donald Trump\u2019s vice-presidential candidate, JD Vance<\/strong><\/a>, for resurfaced comments calling Democrats a \u201cbunch of childless cat ladies with miserable lives\u201d.<\/p>\n

Writing on her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, July 24, the 55-year-old said: \u201cI truly cannot believe this is coming from a potential VP. All I can say is \u2026 Mr. Vance, I pray that your daughter is fortunate enough to bear children of her own one day.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cI hope she will not need to turn to IVF as a second option because you are trying to take that away from her, too,\u201d Aniston continued.<\/p>\n

Aniston\u2019s post included a screenshot of a tweet resurfacing Vance\u2019s July 2021 interview<\/a> with then-Fox News<\/a> host Tucker Carlson<\/strong><\/a>. In the interview, the Republican from Ohio, 39, said the U.S. was being run by \u201ca bunch of childless cat ladies who are miserable at their own lives and the choices that they\u2019ve made and so they want to make the rest of the country miserable, too.\u201d<\/p>\n

Last month, Vance voted to block Democrat-proposed legislation to guarantee access to IVF nationwide.<\/p>\n

Vance and his wife Usha<\/strong> are parents to three children, sons Ewan<\/strong>, 6, and Vivek<\/strong>, 4, and daughter Mirabel<\/strong>, 2.<\/p>\n

Aniston, who has touched on her IVF struggles, told Allure<\/em><\/a> in November 2022 it was \u201creally hard\u201d to see the pregnancy rumors that plagued her throughout her career.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll the years and years and years of speculation\u2026 It was really hard,\u201d she said. \u201cI was going through IVF, drinking Chinese teas, you name it. I was throwing everything at it. I would have given anything if someone had said to me, \u2018Freeze your eggs. Do yourself a favor.\u2019 You just don\u2019t think it.\u201d<\/p>\n

In 2016, false pregnancy reports inspired Aniston to write an essay for the Huffington Post<\/em><\/a> about how \u201cfed up\u201d she was with them and what they say about those who spread them.<\/p>\n

\u201cHere\u2019s where I come out on this topic: We are complete with or without a mate, with or without a child. We get to decide for ourselves what is beautiful when it comes to our bodies. That decision is ours and ours alone,\u201d Aniston wrote.<\/p>\n

\u201cLet\u2019s make that decision for ourselves and for the young women in this world who look to us as examples. Let\u2019s make that decision consciously, outside of the tabloid noise. We don\u2019t need to be married or mothers to be complete. We get to determine our own \u2018happily ever after\u2019 for ourselves.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
