Ryan Reynolds<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>got a cute surprise from his wife\u00a0Blake Lively<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>while he and\u00a0Hugh Jackman<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>were guest co-hosting\u00a0Jimmy Kimmel Live\u00a0<\/em>on Wednesday, July 24. The\u00a0Free Guy\u00a0<\/em>star, 47, was in the middle of interviewing his\u00a0Deadpool and Wolverine\u00a0<\/em>co-star, 55, when his phone started ringing. Even though it wasn\u2019t very convenient timing, he looked excited to talk to his wife, 36.<\/p>\n

While there\u2019s arguably not a good time to answer a FaceTime while hosting a late-night talk show, Blake really did call at an inopportune time. Hugh was in the middle of sharing an emotional story about what his late father said to him during his final moments.\u00a0 \u201cMy father passed away in Australia, and I managed to get back there. It wasn\u2019t easy, and I was there. I was there at the end, and I\u2019ll just never forget that moment and what he said to me,\u201d Hugh said, before Ryan\u2019s phone started ringing.<\/p>\n

Ryan lifted it and apologized. Still, his co-star looked absolutely flabbergasted that he was going to take the call, especially in the middle of his story. \u201cSorry, it\u2019s Blake,\u201d he said, as the crowd cheered. \u201cWe always promised each other that we would answer.<\/p>\n
