It is optimized to carry out\u00a0 \u201cboring, repetitious, and dangerous\u201d work.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Musk made the announcement on X, just a day before the company was due to produce its latest financial results. On Monday, shares spiked by more than 5% by the end of trading in New York on Monday.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cTesla will have genuinely useful humanoid robots in low production for Tesla internal use next year and, hopefully, high production for other companies in 2026.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Tesla will have genuinely useful humanoid robots in low production for Tesla internal use next year and, hopefully, high production for other companies in 2026<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Elon Musk (@elonmusk) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/elonmusk\/status\/1815329637188202550?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">July 22, 2024<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Tesla\u2019s other interests beyond EVs<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Tesla \u2013 which is tipped to see its <a href=\"https:\/\/readwrite.com\/elons-cybertruck-speeds-into-fortnite-according-to-leak\/\">Cybertruck enter the Fortnite realm<\/a> \u2013 has previously showcased the \u201cTesla Bot\u201d and later Musk claimed the company\u2019s robot business would exceed the value of its car interests, so this is a long-term vision that appears close to fruition.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Amid a drop in demand for EVs, there appears to be more attention given to alternate ventures. Robots, as well as AI and <a href=\"https:\/\/readwrite.com\/elon-musks-tesla-nears-self-driving-launch-in-china\/\">autonomous driving<\/a>, are the other areas that Musk is seeking to fully exploit.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">He had hoped to unveil the Robotaxi on Aug. 8 after comments made earlier this year, but in recent days a delay was all but confirmed, as expected.
