Mattel just released their second Barbie Doll with Down Syndrome!<\/em><\/p>\n Barbie fans! Mattel has just released a NEW 2024 Black Barbie Fashionista Doll with Down Syndrome, in partnership with the National Down Syndrome Foundation. She\u2019s wearing a heart-print dress and pink glasses, and is currently available on Amazon<\/a>, Target.com<\/a> and Walmart.com<\/a> priced at $10.99.<\/p>\n The 2023 Blonde Barbie with Down Syndrome is also still available from Target.com<\/a> and on sale for $7.99 (regularly $10.97).<\/p>\n 2023 Barbie Fashionista Doll with Down Syndrome Barbie created these important dolls in collaboration with The National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS). In fact, model Ellie Goldstein posed with the 2023 doll on Good Morning America<\/a>\u00a0and said, \u201cIt looks like me, and it\u2019s beautiful, and I love it to pieces.\u201d \ud83e\udd70<\/p>\n They have several meaningful symbols incorporated into their outfits, including the blue and yellow colors which represent Down Syndrome Awareness. The three arrows in the pink necklace or some of the heart prints on the dress represent the third 21st chromosome that individuals with Down Syndrome have, and they point outward to represent rising up and moving forward.<\/p>\n \u201cThank you Barbie for creating Down Syndrome dolls!
