You either hate it or love it, and some of that choice may be down to your views on Tesla and Elon Musk.<\/p>\n<p>Whatever your views on Terminator-esque machine, if you play Fortnite it\u2019s looking quite likely you will not be able to avoid it as, according to a prominent Fortnite leaking expert, Epic Games Battle Royale is set to get a Cybertruck collab which will see the angular truck racing around the island and anywhere else you can drive a car in the Fortnite universe.<\/p>\n<p>The image that HypeX posted on X featured some tire tracks and part of what looks like the Cybertruck logo, alongside the words, \u201cNEW TEASER \u2014 Cybertruck x Fortnite drops tonight.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">NEW TEASER \u2014 Cybertruck x Fortnite drops tonight \ud83d\udc40\u203c\ufe0f <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/KNDpA5sgmv\">pic.twitter.com\/KNDpA5sgmv<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 HYPEX (@HYPEX) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/HYPEX\/status\/1815085501575004194?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">July 21, 2024<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>HypeX is pretty reliable so we would be amazed if this was not a legit leak but it\u2019s fair to say it\u2019s not one that has been universally welcomed by the fan base, who are also playing through a somewhat old tie-in with the Pirates of the Caribbean event that is going on right now as well.<\/p>\n<p>An example of some of the more publishable responses to the news breaking can be found below:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cI speak for everyone when I say that we don\u2019t care at all.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cfirst collab that makes me wish on this game\u2019s downfall.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cBut I just spent all my money on Pirates of the Caribbean \ud83e\udea6\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cFirst item shop item with 0 sales lets gooooo\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>It does seem as though as games add more and more outlandish tie-ins such as this <a href=\"https:\/\/readwrite.com\/newjeans-pubg\/\">K-Pop one in PUBG<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/readwrite.com\/busting-makes-destiny-2-feel-good-as-ghostbusters-collab-announced\/\">Ghostbusters in Destiny<\/a> companies are increasingly risking the wrath of the fanbase who don\u2019t care about these commercial product drops.<\/p>\n<p>While Epic has enough goodwill to get away with a lot, commercial product placement which is designed to attract fans of the product being placed into the game is clearly beginning to irritate current players.<\/p>\n<p>Like that will stop anybody.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><br \/>\n<br \/>[ad_2]<br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/readwrite.com\/elons-cybertruck-speeds-into-fortnite-according-to-leak\/\">Source link <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[ad_1] Tesla\u2019s Cybertruck is probably one of the most divisive product launches of all time.
