Recent releases in fiction, nonfiction and comics that caught our attention.<\/em><\/p>\n Stephen Graham Jones is something of an expert on slashers. The author has tackled the genre in a slew of his novels (most notably in the Indian Lake Trilogy, with its slasher-movie-obsessed main character) and has an ongoing column in Fangoria<\/em> dedicated to its impact, so it\u2019s not really a surprise to see he\u2019s churned out another entry for the canon. But this time around, we\u2019re getting a different perspective: the slasher\u2019s point of view.<\/p>\n I Was a Teenage Slasher<\/em><\/a>\u00a0<\/em>is the fictional memoir of Tolly Driver, who in 1989 reluctantly became Lamesa, Texas\u2019 very own Michael Meyers at the age of 17 \u2014 a transformation that\u2019s seemingly driven by powers beyond Tolly\u2019s control.
