Users from several countries already <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsmarena.com\/netflix_removes_the_basic_adfree_plan_in_multiple_markets-news-63558.php\">reported the change<\/a>, which now seems to be official.<\/p>\n<p>The Basic plan that costs $11.99 in the United States was removed for new users but Netflix allowed paying customers to keep it. Now, they are also pushed towards a new plan, and the the cheaper option is an ad-enabled for $6.99.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"inline-image\" width=\"1200\" height=\"699\" src=\"https:\/\/fdn.gsmarena.com\/imgroot\/news\/22\/01\/svod-2021-just-watch\/-1200\/gsmarena_005.jpg\" alt=\"Netflix officially removes Basic - the cheapest ad-free tier\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The cheapest with no ads is $15.49 (Standard) or $22.99 (Premium, which allows more supported devices to watch and download and streams in 4K, where available).<\/p>\n<p>Netflix revealed two more changes in its quarterly report.
