26 years after The Parent Trap<\/em>\u2019s release, Lindsay Lohan<\/strong><\/a>, 38, reunited with the real-life Hallie Parker, who she played in the 1998 classic.<\/p>\n Filmed as a remake of the 1961 movie of the same name, Disney\u2019s The Parent Trap<\/em> follows identical twins Hallie Parker and Annie James\u2014both played by Lohan\u2014who reunite by chance at a summer camp and plot to get their divorced parents back together.<\/p>\n In the snap from the meetup, Lindsay\u2014who also played Hallie\u2019s twin Annie James in the film\u2014looked stunning wearing a blue and white floral dress and a big smile. To top off the look, she opted to shield her eyes from the sun with a pair of Clubmaster-style sunglasses.<\/p>\n Hallie Meyers-Shyer<\/strong>\u2014who made an appearance alongside the Freaky Friday<\/em> actress in the \u201990s family flick as one of Hallie and Annie\u2019s fellow campers\u2014sported a white tank top, linen bottoms, and a pair of chic yellow sunnies.<\/p>\n The post originally shared on July 17<\/a> has since been deleted (removed, archived, who knows?<\/em>), but you can always rely on the internet to take a snapshot for safekeeping.<\/p>\n Nancy Meyers shares new photo of Lindsay Lohan reunited with her daughter Hallie:<\/p>\n “A Camp Walden reunion. Along with the throwback shot, Hallie captioned the post, \u201cWe wore matching outfits for all of 1998.\u201d<\/p>\n And Lindsay looks back fondly on her role in the movie as well. Back in 2022, she revealed which character was her favorite to play while shooting.<\/p>\n \u201cI wanted to be more like Annie,\u201d she recalled in a 2022 video for\u00a0Vogue<\/em><\/a>, \u201cbecause she was more preppy and reserved. She just had a classier twist to her that I really loved.\u201d<\/p>\n Hallie continued to work in the industry and appeared in What Women Want<\/em> and The Affair of the Necklace<\/em>. She has since followed in her mom\u2019s footsteps with 2017\u2019s Home Again<\/em>, which she both wrote and directed. Her mom, Nancy Meyers<\/strong><\/a>, served as the producer in the Reese Witherspoon<\/strong><\/a>-helmed film.<\/p>\n Lohan, meanwhile, went on to become one of the biggest and brightest young stars in Hollywood with Freaky Friday<\/em>, Mean Girls<\/em>, Just My Luck<\/em>, and A Prairie Home Companion<\/em>.<\/p>\n The former child actor, after some personal struggles, revived her career with her first leading role since 2013 in Falling for Christmas<\/em>, which came out in 2022.
