Karate class is in session! <\/span>Cobra Kai <\/span><\/i>has officially hit the Netflix streaming platform on Thursday, July 18, with season six \u2013 part one. The spinoff show that originated from the 1984 film starring Ralph Macchio<\/a><\/strong>, is back with all new action.<\/span><\/p>\n Hollywoodlife has got you with the deets and what you can expect on this new season:<\/span><\/p>\n Cast Memebers Return For Another Fight<\/b><\/p>\n Aside from the karate kid himself, you can expect to see Ralph\u2019s on-screen enemy William Zabka<\/strong>, Xolo Maridue\u00f1a<\/a><\/strong>, Peyton List<\/a><\/strong>, Tanner Buchanan<\/a><\/strong>, Gianni DeCenzo<\/strong>, Mary Mouser<\/strong>, and more.<\/span><\/p>\n What To Expect\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n The karate legends Daniel LaRusso, Johnny Lawrence, and Chozen Toguchi \u2013 all from the original film \u2013 come together to teach and train the toughest and mightiest kids for the <\/span>Sekai Taikai tournament. While the drama is happening, antagonist John Kreese \u2013 played by Martin Kove<\/strong> \u2013 is plotting to take over the event with his Cobra Kai students \u2013 in which he is training for the event.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Spoilers<\/b><\/p>\n During their preparation for the Sekai Taikai tournament, they realize that only six members can take part in the event which ends up being a situation since the Miyagi-Do team has quite a lot of players. The chosen six came down to Miguel, Sam, Robby, Tory, Demetri, and Devon.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n As conflict arises, the Miyagi-Do player Tory decided to remove herself from the team and join Cobra Kai. As per Peyton List who told <\/span>Today<\/span><\/i><\/a>, \u201cAfter not being captain at Miyagi-Do and having no plans for the foreseeable future, you know, no college, she has to turn to the one person who she knows will be there for her no matter what\u201d hence why she headed back to her once coach \u2013 John. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n The 26-year-old added, \u200b\u200b\u201dfor some reason he sees something in Tory, and she feels like it\u2019s her only option, even though it\u2019s not, but in that moment, she can\u2019t see clearly.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Three-Part Season<\/b><\/p>\n The sixth season will consist of 15 episodes, but will be split into three parts. With this drop of five episodes, <\/span>Cobra Kai <\/span><\/i>fans can expect to see part two in November. Part three will be able to stream on Netflix in 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
