During an appearance on Monday\u2019s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon<\/em>, Natalie Portman<\/strong><\/a>, 43 \u2014 who finalized her divorce\u00a0from her husband\u00a0Benjamin Millepied<\/strong><\/a>, 47, in February \u2014 spoke about meeting Rihanna<\/strong><\/a>, 36, at Paris Fashion Week in January.<\/p>\n Portman expressed, \u201cI think every woman going through a divorce should get to have Rihanna say to her that she\u2019s a bad b**ch.\u201d<\/p>\n In the wholesome interaction shared by Bustle<\/em>\u00a0on\u00a0Instagram<\/a> back in January, the two superstars embraced each other, and Portman told the singer, \u201cI love you!\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI am a f***ing fan,\u201d Rihanna replied, adding that the\u00a0V for Vendetta <\/em>actor\u00a0is\u00a0\u201cone of the hottest b**ches in Hollywood.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m going to faint,\u201d Portman told Rihanna. \u201cI\u2019m going to black out.\u201d<\/p>\n The Oscar-winner further explained to Fallon that the empowering statement from the Grammy winner was \u201cexactly what [she] needed\u201d while splitting from her husband of more than a decade. \u201cIt was a formative moment in my life.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n The late-night show host celebrated the moment by giving Portman a standing ovation and saying, \u201cThat\u2019s a big deal.\u201d<\/p>\n Portman filed for divorce last July, and it was finalized in February in France, where she and Millepied, whom she married in 2012 two years after meeting on the set of her hit 2010 film Black Swan<\/em> (on which he served as choreographer), had been living. They also lived there with their children: son Aleph<\/strong><\/a>, 13, and daughter Amalia<\/strong><\/a>, 7.<\/p>\n But according to an exclusive with PEOPLE<\/a>,<\/em> they confirmed in March that she and her husband of 11 years, Millepied, had officially divorced after quietly separating eight months prior.<\/p>\n Prior, the Black Swan<\/em> star had only ever commented on the public speculation surrounding their marriage, telling Vanity Fair<\/em><\/a> in February: \u201cIt\u2019s terrible, and I have no desire to contribute to it.\u201d She was also reportedly seen stepping out repeatedly without her wedding ring.<\/p>\n A friend of the couple then told PEOPLE<\/em> in March regarding the pair\u2019s divorce, \u201cIt was initially really tough for her, but her friends rallied around her and helped get her through the worst of it.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cNatalie is coming out of a really tough and painful year but she\u2019s come out the other side of it stronger and is finding joy in her family, friends and work,\u201d the source added.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n\n<\/blockquote>\n
