YouTube creator Billy LeBlanc<\/strong> shared the devastating news that his partner died after contracting a rare infection from oysters.<\/p>\n On July 14, LeBlanc, 44, posted on\u00a0Instagram<\/a> that he \u201calmost died\u201d but his girlfriend Natalie Clark<\/strong>, 37, \u201cpassed away\u201d after they contracted the rare bacterial infection vibrio vulnificus from raw oysters.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m sure none of you know but I recently almost died. I was in the hospital for 12 days. Unfortunately Natalie didn\u2019t make it and she passed away,\u201d he wrote in the caption of his post. \u201cI will always remember how we got lost everywhere together. I will always love her and miss her.. Be safe and hold your loved ones tight you, never know when it\u2019ll be the last time you see them.\u201d<\/p>\n In addition to Billy\u2019s post that he and Natalie contracted vibrio vulnificus\u2014a potentially fatal bacterial infection that can cause fever, vomiting, and diarrhea, among other symptoms according to the Cleveland Clinic<\/a>\u2014from eating raw oysters, Billy\u2019s mother, Yvette Berthelot<\/strong> LeBlanc<\/strong>, shared on Facebook<\/a> on July 6 that the \u201cpast two weeks [have been] a hard time\u201d for their family with the tragedy.<\/p>\n \u201cNatalie lost her life and Billy was very close to death [and he was] in the ICU for 8 days,\u201d she said in the post. \u201cPlease continue to pray for Natalie\u2019s son Julian for her family and for Billy, both for his health and his heart.\u201d<\/p>\n The YouTuber\u2014whose channel has more than 200k subscribers\u2014was part of the popular YouTube family that posted through the account\u00a0Bratayleys <\/a>with his ex-wife\u00a0Katie LeBlanc\u00a0<\/strong>and their children\u00a0Annie, Hayley\u00a0<\/strong>and their late son\u00a0Caleb<\/strong>, who passed away in 2015.<\/p>\n The day before Billy announced Clark\u2019s death, he posted a birthday message to his son Caleb, who had died at 13 years old from \u201cnatural causes,\u201d as LeBlanc and his family had previously shared on Instagram<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cIt seems like just yesterday, you would have been in this ihop with us. I miss you my little baby boy. Happy birthday.\u201d<\/p>\n After his divorce in 2019, Billy began his own YouTube channel called \u201cJust Billy LeBlanc,\u201d where in 2020 he introduced Natalie\u2014who was mom to 17-year-old son Julian\u2014as his new girlfriend.<\/p>\n Earlier this year, Natalie shared a sweet birthday tribute to Billy, in which she also celebrated their life together.<\/p>\n \u201cI see you birthday boy!\u201d she\u00a0captioned her January 19 post<\/a>. \u201cThese are the special times. The ones that will make us the power couple we are even through the hard times.
