The internet world is spiraling after allegations were made by social media personality Tana Mongeau<\/strong> about Youtuber Cody Ko<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n The 33-year-old comedic influencer began his content creation career on Vine and transitioned his way into Youtube where he now has more than 6.14 million subscribers. Per his Youtube bio,<\/a> h<\/span>is content consists of <\/span>being \u201can actor\/comedian\/YouTuber\/podcaster\/SoundCloud rapper\/internet badboy based in Venice, CA. He speaks in several podcasts and makes comedy videos on YouTube, some of his most popular videos being his commentary on funny things he finds on Instagram.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n The 26-year-old internet personality gained popularity on Youtube for her \u201cstorytime\u201d videos and also for being in a controversial relationship with now-boxer Jake Paul<\/a><\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Tana made allegations on her podcast \u201c<\/span>Cancelled<\/span><\/a>,\u201d stating that the two linked while she was under age. <\/span>\u201cI hooked up with Cody Ko when I was 17 and he was 25. Yeah, it happened. At 25 now\u2026 I would never do anything like that so I\u2019m like, \u2018What the fuck was wrong with you?\u2019. But I don\u2019t associate it or hold it with trauma\u2026I understand where now as a grown adult that you can say: \u2018You were taken advantage of\u2019,\u201d she confessed.<\/span><\/p>\n This news did not come as a surprise to many due to her reputation. She recalled during a podcast episode \u201c<\/span>Just Trish<\/span><\/a>\u201d with Trisha Paytas<\/a><\/strong>, \u201cThe thing that was actually really heartbreaking to me and kind of crazy to me is, after it started going viral, seeing so many people not believing me and being like, \u2018It\u2019s Tana, so who cares?\u2019\u2026We don\u2019t need to lie about fucked up shit about other people to, like, keep people entertained.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Despite Tana speaking up, Cody has not made any comment about the subject. He has recenly collaborated a lot with Brittany Broski, who spoke out about the matter in a post made via Instagram stories. \u201cI\u2019m crushed to learn about the Cody allegations. If it\u2019s proven to be true then that\u2019s extremely upsetting as a collaborator and longtime fan. I find all of this disturbing, inappropriate and just flat out disappointing,\u201d the 27-year-old noted.<\/span><\/p>\n Fans were taken back by her choice of words\u2013 \u201cIf it\u2019s proven to be true.\u201d Her crowd appeared to be disappointed as some comments on her <\/span>most recent post on Instagram <\/span><\/a>include,<\/span>\u00a0\u201cas a long time broski nation member, \u2018if the allegations are proven to be true\u2019 is so disappointing.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThink Tana could use an apology,\u201d another user added.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
