Camila Cabello<\/strong><\/a> and Shawn Mendes<\/strong> <\/a>fueled reconciliation rumors over the weekend after being spotted at the Copa Am\u00e9rica final on Sunday, July 14. According to a new social media video<\/a>, the 27-year-old \u201cHavana\u201d artist and the 25-year-old \u201cStitches\u201d singer were seen sitting next to each other at Miami\u2019s Hard Rock Stadium, watching the game between Argentina and Colombia.<\/p>\n

The former couple<\/a> amicably chatted throughout the game, as seen in the fan-captured clip circulating online.<\/p>\n

Camila and Shawn have been friends and collaborators for years. In 2017, they worked together on their first single, \u201cI Know What You Did Last Summer.\u201d The two dated from July 2019 to November 2021, when they announced their split in a joint statement via their respective Instagram Stories.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The duo added in their note that they \u201cstarted [their] relationship as best friends and will continue to be best friends.\u201d<\/p>\n

In mid-2023, the \u201cSe\u00f1orita\u201d hitmakers briefly rekindled their romance after they were spotted getting close at Coachella. However, the reunion didn\u2019t last, and they split<\/a> that June. Nearly one year later, Camila appeared on the \u201cCall Her Daddy\u201d podcast in March and opened up about her second split from Shawn.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cLuckily, I was in a place in my life where it took me less time to realize that. It took us both less time to be like, \u2018This doesn\u2019t feel right, and we really don\u2019t need to try so hard to make it work,\u2019\u201d Camila explained to podcast host Alex Cooper, before adding, \u201c\u2018It\u2019s all good. This is not feeling good. Let\u2019s be friends. I love you, it\u2019s all good let\u2019s move on, you go do your thing \u2026 become the person that you\u2019re becoming, and I\u2019ll root for you.’\u201d<\/p>\n

The \u201cCrying in the Club\u201d artist then pointed out that she \u201cwill always care about [Shawn] and love him.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s such a good person,\u201d she added. \u201cAnd I\u2019m lucky because some people have exes that are awful, and he is not. He\u2019s a really kind, good person.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
