Though the well known Steve Rogers \u2013 played by <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/hollywoodlife.com\/celeb\/chris-evans\/\" data-analytics-trigger=\"article-body-link\">Chris Evans<\/a><\/strong> \u2013 has taken a step back to live his elder years, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/hollywoodlife.com\/tag\/anthony-mackie\/\" data-analytics-trigger=\"article-body-link\">Anthony Mackie<\/a><\/strong> is coming to save the world as the new Captain America in <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Captain America: Brave New World<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"content-paragraph-3\"><b>Release Date<\/b><\/p>\n<p id=\"content-paragraph-4\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The superhero film is set to release on one of the most romantic dates, February 14, 2025. The announcement was made on all of <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Marvel<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2019s platforms as they showed off the teaser photo with a hand gripping onto the well known vibranium shield.<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"content-paragraph-5\"><b>Cast<\/b><\/p>\n<p id=\"content-paragraph-6\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Aside from the protagonist\u2013 who previously played Falcon, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/hollywoodlife.com\/celeb\/harrison-ford\/#:~:text=Harrison%20Ford%20(born%20Harrison%20Ford,career%20has%20spanned%20six%20decades.\" data-analytics-trigger=\"article-body-link\">\u00a0Harrison Ford<\/a><\/strong> will also star in the film as the new elected president. But as per IMDb, the upcoming movie is about Sam Wilson\u2013 Anthony Mackie\u2019s character \u2013 \u201c meeting with newly elected U.S. President Thaddeus Ross, Sam finds himself in the middle of an international incident. He must discover the reason behind a global plot before the true mastermind has the entire world seeing red.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"content-paragraph-9\"><b>Anthony Takes The Shield<\/b><\/p>\n<p id=\"content-paragraph-10\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The 45-year-old took on Chris\u2019 role in the finale of <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Falcon and The Winter Soldier, <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cThis is the moment where he becomes Captain America, so what\u2019s his Captain America going to stand for?\u201d Mackie explains. \u201cBecause he was a soldier, he was a caretaker of soldiers, a counselor, he\u2019s not the guy who\u2019s going to bust his way through problems\u2026The humanitarian side of him was something that I feel is his superpower, his ability to have empathy and sympathy for those around him is your superpower,\u201d Mackie continues. \u201cSo that monologue was about him showing that if one of us is mistreated, we\u2019re all to blame.
