Nicolas Kim Coppola<\/strong><\/a>, born January 7, 1964 in Long Beach, California, is an actor and filmmaker who\u2019s had a wide-spanning career ever since he got his start in the business in the early \u201980s. The 60-year-old, nephew to famous director Francis Ford Coppola\u00a0<\/strong>and cousin to directors\u00a0Sofia Coppola\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Roman Coppola<\/strong>, made a name for himself in Hollywood with memorable performances in movies like Moonstruck\u00a0<\/em>(1987),\u00a0Raising Arizona <\/em>(1987),\u00a0Wild at Heart\u00a0<\/em>(1990), and\u00a0Leaving Las Vegas\u00a0<\/em>(1995), for which he won an Academy Award for Best Actor.<\/p>\n

In addition to his acting career and subsequent producing and directing work, Nicolas has had quite the love life, married five times<\/a> and dating high-profile stars like\u00a0Patricia Arquette<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Lisa Marie Presley<\/strong><\/a>. In addition to his various romances, he\u2019s fathered two children from two separate women and currently has a baby on the way with wife\u00a0Riko Shibata<\/strong>. Here we breakdown all you need to know about the actor\u2019s children.<\/p>\n

Born December 26, 1990,\u00a0Weston Coppola Cage<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>is Nicolas\u2019s first son he shares with actress\u00a0Christina Fulton<\/strong>. Weston, who is a musician who\u2019s been involved in two black metal bands, also describes himself as a \u201cmartial artist\u201d and \u201cspiritualist\u201d in his Instagram bio<\/a>. Weston has also dabbled a bit in Hollywood, appearing in his father\u2019s film Lord of War\u00a0<\/em>as a helicopter mechanic and recently starring in the MMA fighter flick\u00a0Mojave Diamonds<\/em><\/a>, coming 2023.<\/p>\n

Weston seems to be doing pretty well these days, although he\u2019s had some issues in the past. Back in 2017, he was arrested for a DUI<\/a> in the San Fernando Valley after driving into a tree. In addition, last summer, the actor filed a restraining order<\/a> in Chatsworth, California against his mother, Christina, claiming that she caused him \u201cdistress for months\u201d and also that she tried to \u201cruin [his] career\u201d while he was undergoing treatment for \u201cmental health problems.\u201d The judge ultimately denied the petition.<\/p>\n

Although Weston still has some issues to work out with mom, he seems to remain pretty close with his dad, who is also a grandfather of four through his son: Lucian Augustus<\/strong>, \u00a0Sorin Reid<\/strong>, whom Weston shares with ex-wife Danielle Cage<\/strong>\u00a0and twin girls\u00a0Venice Zohar<\/strong>\u00a0and Cyress Zara<\/strong>\u00a0from his relationship with current wife Hila Cage Coppola<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In July 2024, however, Weston was arrested on a felony charge of assault with a deadly weapon following an alleged incident with his mother, according to multiple outlets. After he was arrested, Weston was released on a $150,000 bond. The charge was related to an incident that took place in April 2024 with Christina. The two reportedly got into a dispute and became physical.<\/p>\n

Kal-El Coppola Cage <\/b>was born October 3, 2005 to Nicolas and then-wife Alice Kim<\/strong>. The chose Kal-El\u2019s unique name after Superman\u2019s birth name \u2014 Nic is a huge comic book fan, after all (he chose his \u201cCage\u201d surname after the character Luke Cage). The couple were married on a private ranch in Northern California on July, 30, 2004 but divorced in 2016.<\/p>\n

Nicolas and Alice continue to successfully co-parent Kal-El, however! The teen likes to keep things pretty low-key, although he has followed in his father\u2019s entertainment world footsteps somewhat, doing the voice of a young Bruce Wayne in the 2018 family action flick\u00a0Teen Titans Go! To The Movies<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

In January 2022, Nicolas and current wife, Riko Shibata<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0announced they were expecting a baby.<\/a>\u00a0The City of Angels<\/em>\u00a0actor and his wife confirmed the happy news to PEOPLE<\/a>. <\/em>\u201cThe parents-to-be are elated!\u201d their rep shared with the publication.<\/p>\n

The news came just 10 months after their Las Vegas nuptials<\/a>, held at the Wynn Hotel & Resort back in February. The couple apparently chose Feb. 16 for the wedding date as a tribute to Nicolas\u2019s late father,\u00a0August Coppola<\/strong>, who was born on that date in 1934. August passed away after a heart attack in 2009 at the age of 75.<\/p>\n
