Spending time with horses seems to make people with Alzheimer\u2019s disease<\/a> more sociable and improves their mood.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re seeing some really promising results with bringing Alzheimer\u2019s patients into nature with horses,\u201d says L\u00e9a Badin<\/a> at the University of Tours in France.<\/p>\n

Badin and her colleagues enrolled 34 people with Alzheimer\u2019s \u2013 30 women and four men, aged between 80 and 98, living in four French nursing homes \u2013 to participate in either equine-assisted therapy or music<\/a> therapy, an established\u2026<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
