The fitness tracker app has launched<a data-i13n=\"cpos:2;pos:1\" href=\"https:\/\/www.strava.com\/family\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:its family plan;cpos:2;pos:1;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \"> its family plan<\/a>, a subscription tier allowing up to four accounts on one plan. It includes everything an individual plan has, such as route building and sharing, activity recording and safety tools.<\/p>\n<p>The family plan starts at $140 annually, compared to $80 annually for an <a data-i13n=\"cpos:3;pos:1\" href=\"https:\/\/www.engadget.com\/2018-08-01-strava-summit-new-membership-program.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:individual plan;cpos:3;pos:1;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">individual plan<\/a>, so it could even be worth it for two people. But, there&#8217;s one big catch: Users have to pay for the plan upfront, unlike the individual plan, which offers a $12 monthly option. Also, anyone who has already subscribed but wants to join a family plan will have to cancel their membership in order to join it. <a data-i13n=\"cpos:4;pos:1\" href=\"https:\/\/www.engadget.com\/nike-and-strava-partner-up-for-curated-workouts-and-original-content-183019760.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:Strava;cpos:4;pos:1;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Strava<\/a> claims that all of their data should be transferred once they have joined a family plan.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the name, anyone can come together to create a family plan \u2014 as long as they&#8217;re all based in the same country. Members can leave, and new members can join at any time.
